Accepting these terms and the changes we make

By opening an account with us, placing a bet or using any part of the site, you agree to these terms and to any further rules that apply to a particular game, payment method or promotion. If you do not accept them, please do not use your account.

These terms work alongside our privacy policy, the terms attached to each promotion and the rules shown inside each game. Where a specific rule conflicts with these general terms, the specific rule applies to that game or offer.

We may change these terms from time to time, for example to reflect a change in the law, in our systems or in the services we offer. Where a change is material, we will tell you by e-mail or by a notice in your account before it takes effect, and the date of the current version is shown on this page.

Continuing to use your account after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. If you would rather not accept them, you may withdraw your available balance, subject to the checks described below, and ask us to close your account.

Eligibility and your account

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account or to gamble with us. Underage gambling is an offence, and we treat it seriously. The conditions below apply for as long as your account is open.

  • Age. We may ask for proof of age at any point. If we find that an account is held by someone under 18, we will close it, cancel any winnings and return the deposits made.
  • One account per person. You may hold one account only. We may close duplicate accounts opened by the same person, household, e-mail address, payment method or device, and cancel any benefit obtained through them.
  • Accurate details. The name, date of birth, address, e-mail address and telephone number you give us must be correct and kept up to date. Tell us promptly if anything changes.
  • Your account is yours alone. You may not let anyone else play on it, act on your behalf or fund it with a card, bank account or wallet that is not in your name.
  • Security. Keep your password and any security codes private, and contact us straight away if you believe someone else has had access to your account.
  • Where you live. Our services are offered to residents of the United Kingdom, and it is your responsibility to make sure that using them is lawful where you are.

We hold a gaming licence for the services we provide and are required to verify the accounts we open. If we cannot satisfy ourselves that you are eligible to play, we may limit access to your account while the matter is settled.

Verification of your identity, age and address

Before your first withdrawal we must confirm who you are. These checks are a standard requirement for licensed operators, and they protect you as much as they protect us. We may repeat them later if the details on your account change.

  1. Identity and age - a clear copy of a valid photographic identity document showing your full name and date of birth.
  2. Address - a recent document in your name showing the address registered on your account, such as a utility bill or a bank statement.
  3. Payment method - confirmation that the card, bank account or wallet used to deposit belongs to you.

Where the size or pattern of your deposits makes it necessary, or where we are otherwise obliged to ask, we may request information about your source of funds. This can include payslips, bank statements or similar documents showing where the money you are gambling with has come from.

Withdrawals may be held while checks are completed

Until verification is finished we may hold a withdrawal and limit activity on your account. Documents you send us are handled in line with our privacy policy and kept only for as long as we need them.

If documents are not supplied within a reasonable period, or if what we receive does not match the details on your account, we may suspend the account and return the balance to its original source, less any amounts connected with a breach of these terms.

Deposits, withdrawals and bonuses

Deposits and withdrawals

You may only deposit money that is lawfully yours, using a payment method registered in your own name. The methods open to you, the minimum and maximum amounts and the usual processing times are shown in the cashier, together with any limits that apply to your account.

  • Deposits are credited once the payment has been accepted by the provider and are available to play with immediately.
  • Withdrawals are returned to the same method you used to deposit wherever that is possible. Where it is not, we will pay the funds to another method held in your name.
  • A withdrawal may be held while verification, payment or security checks are completed, and we will tell you if anything further is needed.
  • We do not provide banking facilities and we do not pay interest on money held in your account.

If a deposit is reversed, charged back or found to be fraudulent, we may recover the amount from your balance, suspend the account and take further steps where the law requires it.

Bonuses and promotions

Every offer carries its own terms, which are shown with the offer and form part of these terms once you take it. They normally set a wagering requirement, a maximum stake while bonus funds are active, a cap on the amount that can be converted to cash, the games that count towards wagering, and an expiry period after which unused bonus funds and any winnings from them are removed.

Bonuses are offered at our discretion. We may withdraw or change a promotion, and we may decide that a particular account is no longer eligible for offers. Examples of behaviour we treat as abuse of promotions include:

  • Claiming the same offer through more than one account, or through accounts linked by payment method, address or device.
  • Staking above the maximum bet permitted while bonus funds are in play.
  • Patterns of play designed only to clear a wagering requirement with little or no risk, including low-risk betting on both outcomes.
  • Any attempt to obtain a benefit by giving us false information.

Where we find that an offer has been abused, we may remove the bonus and any winnings derived from it and, in serious cases, close the account. Your own deposited funds will be returned to you.

Safer gambling, and closing or suspending an account

Tools to help you stay in control

Gambling should remain enjoyable and affordable. Your account includes deposit limits, loss and stake limits, session reminders, time-outs of a set length and self-exclusion for a longer period. A limit that reduces your exposure applies straight away; an increase takes effect only after a cooling-off period.

You can also exclude yourself from online gambling with operators licensed in Great Britain through GamStop. Free, confidential advice and support is available from GamCare, GambleAware and the National Gambling Helpline. Our support team can set up any of our tools for you on request.

When an account is closed or suspended

  • At your request. Ask us by live chat or by e-mail and we will close the account. Any available balance is returned to you once the usual checks are complete.
  • Self-exclusion. An account closed under self-exclusion cannot be reopened before the chosen period has ended, and we will stop sending you marketing.
  • Inactivity. Where there has been no activity for an extended period we may treat an account as dormant. We will contact you first and return any balance held.
  • Breach. We may suspend or close an account where these terms have been broken, where play appears fraudulent or collusive, or where we are required to do so.

Closing an account does not affect bets already settled, and it does not remove any obligation either of us has arising before the closure.

Complaints, liability and governing law

If something goes wrong

Write to support@casinoroyalvalley.co.uk or use the live chat on the site. Please give your username, the date and time of the event and a short description of what happened, so that the matter can be looked into without delay. We acknowledge complaints promptly and reply within a reasonable time, keeping you informed if more time is needed.

If we cannot settle the matter between us, you may refer it to an independent dispute resolution provider at no cost to you. We will confirm our final position in writing and tell you how to take the complaint further.

Liability and the law that applies

  • Game outcomes are determined by the gaming software. If a game or payment system malfunctions, affected bets are void and stakes are returned.
  • We are not responsible for losses caused by your own device, your internet connection, or a failure to keep your login details safe.
  • We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under the law.
  • Otherwise, our liability to you is limited to the value of the affected bet or the balance held in your account at the time, whichever is lower.

These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of them, are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining parts continue to apply.

18+ only

Gambling can be addictive. Set a limit before you play, and only gamble with money you can afford to lose.
